In the first quarter of 2024, the social networking landscape on iOS in Lebanon saw notable activity among the top five applications: WhatsApp Messenger, Facebook, Telegram Messenger, Threads, and Messenger. Here's a closer look at their performance trends.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between approximately 2.5K to 4.7K. The app experienced a rise in active users, growing from 560.7K in early January to nearly 598.7K by the end of March.

Facebook saw weekly downloads ranging from about 2.3K to 3.4K. The app's weekly revenue peaked at around $633 in the second week of January and stabilized around $357 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed some fluctuation, starting at 606.6K and ending at 594.5K.

Telegram Messenger exhibited a consistent download pattern, with weekly downloads varying between 1.6K and 2.4K. Revenue trends indicated growth, peaking at $427 in mid-March. Active users, however, showed a slight decline from 102.4K at the start of the quarter to 99.0K by the end of March.

Threads experienced an increase in weekly downloads, peaking at nearly 3K in the week of February 19. The app's active user base grew from 13.2K in early January to 19.4K by the end of March, reflecting a positive trend.

Messenger maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging between 1.4K and 1.8K. Active users showed a slight decline from 184.5K at the start of the quarter to 171.6K by the end of March.
